PasaFile

Pass your files instantly across your local network.

The problem

Moving a large file between two devices on the same desk usually means uploading it to a cloud service and downloading it again — paying twice in time for a journey of a few metres, accepting a file-size cap, and handing the contents to a third party on the way.

The approach

PasaFile connects the two devices directly. One creates a room and gets a six-digit code; the other joins with the code or a QR scan, and files move peer-to-peer at local network speed. The server coordinates the introduction only — file data never passes through it.

What it does

Direct peer-to-peer transfer
Files move straight between devices with no server in the middle, so transfer speed is bounded by the local network rather than an upload link.
Six-digit room codes
Create a room, share the code or let the other device scan a QR. No account, no app install, no pairing setup.
No size limits
Files of any size, with no restrictions and no subscription tier.
Optional room password
Rooms can be password-protected or left open. Each room stays active for one hour and is reachable by anyone holding the code.
Nothing stored
File contents never touch the server, so there is nothing retained after a transfer completes.
